Call for Papers

We would like to cordially invite you to submit papers to IFSA-SCIS 2017.

IFSA-SCIS 2017

Preparation:

Authors should prepare papers in IEEE style (see below) including results, figures and references. Each paper must be chosen one of the paper styles, full or position paper, and one of the presentation styles, oral or poster. Each paper also has to be chosen one of the sessions (General Track, Special Sessions, COI Papers, Position Paper Track) in the submission system.

Papers should be written in A4 paper format with the IEEE style (please see following links). Title, authors’ names, and organizations of your paper should be capitalized as IEEE style manual. Only a PDF file will be accepted for the review process. All fonts should be embedded in the PDF file.

Paper Categories:

Full Papers (General Track, Special Sessions, COI Paper)

Paper length is at most six pages (can be extended up to eight pages but subject to an additional fee) in IEEE style including results, figures, and references. All full papers should be submitted online. Full papers will be rigorously and competitively peer reviewed. All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings and archived in IEEE Xplore subject to the approval of IEEE. We also plan to organize special issues in some journals. Excellent papers will be invited to submit the extended versions to the special issues.

Note: Each special session organizer cannot directly submit her/his papers to the own special session. Those papers are handled as COI Papers. Please submit the papers to “COI Papers” in the same submission system and indicate the special session ID. The papers written by program chair and vice program chair are also handled as COI Papers.

Position Papers

Position papers are expected to present a proposal about an issue, without the need of presenting full research and/or experimental results. A position paper may be a discussion of ideas, methods, results, and trends, focused on any of the conference topics. Paper length is at most four pages. All position papers will be published in the conference proceedings (not archived in IEEE Xplore).

Note: The important dates for position papers are different from those for full papers. See the left column.

Presentation Style:

Authors can select the preferred form of presentation (i.e., Oral or Poster). Although the program committee will do their best to respect all the preference, please be aware that not all can necessarily be accommodated due to various constraints for the conference program development.

Reviewing Process:

The review process is single-blind (authors identities known by reviewers). Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of technical quality, novelty, potential impact, and clarity. Plagiarism check will be performed. All submissions will be treated in strict confidence until the publication.

Full papers submitted should report original work. IFSA-SCIS 2017 will not accept any paper that, at the time of submission, is under review or has already been accepted for publication in a journal or another conference. Authors are also expected not to submit their papers elsewhere during the review period.

Submission:

All papers should be submitted through EasyChair.
